Our athletes have been racing everything from 5Ks to marathons, and half iron tris, with a few Ironmans and some more marathons in the not too distant future, and I intend to cover them all, even the twin beds, but let's get started on some of this summer's highlights so far.
In May, Jamie and Dwight ran in the Madison Marathon, a scorcher in the mid-to-upper 80s, and humid, and Jamie still PRd by 11+ minutes! She also represented our long-time supporter, Bondi Band well.

Jamie
In June, Jason (your's truly) and Dwight completed the High Cliff (Half Iron) Triathlon. Dwight impressed with a 5:10 and Jason PRd by over 45 minutes! Jason sported a Bondi Band in this race as well, and in fact does every race (as does Jamie).

The 2010 racing season is underway. Already this year, on March 7th, Jamie Edge competed in the Disney Princess Half Marathon, as well as the Black Earth 10-Mile Run (Black Earth, WI) on April 3rd. Jason Edge also competed in this event. Additionally, Jamie recently announced that she'll be running as a "Sole Mate" for the Girls on the Run of Dane County organization, her donation page can be found here, or by clicking on the image below.
On April 18th, Karen Nelson competed in the challenging Horsetooth Half Marathon in Fort Collins, CO. Just a few days prior, Karen announced that she'll be raising money for the Livestrong Foundation this year, as a member of Team Livestrong 2010. Karen is a Hodgkin's lymphoma surivor (2002), and her donation page can be found here, or by clicking on the image below.
Yesterday (April 19th), Dwight Meyer competed in the Boston Marathon. Dwight qualified at last year's Twin Cities Marathon, with a 3:10:14, and cruised in with an "easy" 3:19:59 yesterday in Boston. We are very proud of Dwight, and excited for him to get back and get into the swing of his Ironman Wisconsin training.

It is a very busy season ahead, both filled with races, and promotional activities for our valuable clients. We are excited for our athletes and our clients. Get in touch if you have any special promotional needs or goals for the year, as we can help you round them out with a customized program to make more athletes around the country aware of your fantastic brand.

Over 150 vendors spread across the floor at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at Wisconsin's State Fair Park this past weekend provided temporary relief from a Wisconsin winter when most of us are stranded indoors and away from multisport. Workshops provided information regarding running bio-mechanics to motivational techniques, team time trials on Computrainers, an Endless Pool where one could receive swimstroke analysis, treadmills, and message/physical therapists offered a hands-on experience, while retailers, race directors, and other service providers hawked their variety of goods.
Edge Multisport was on-hand to check out the event and soak in some sport as an appropriate launch to 2010. A year we hope to offer exciting opportunities to athletes and business-partners alike.
We also had the good fortune running into our very own athlete's Dwight and Bob. Both working on their own exciting seasons already. Dwight is heading to Boston in April for the 114th running of the Boston Marathon, and Bob is participating in Ohio's Triple-T in May, among the many other exciting events they have planned.
Thanks to SOIL in Action, thousands of shirts and shoes were donated at the expo to be delivered to Haiti in a relief effort for the crisis in that region. An effort which Edge Multisport partook. Jason and Jamie donated some shoes:
